Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria. No exceptions will be considered.
be currently enrolled at an accredited university or college, either full-time or part- time;
undergraduate and graduate students are eligible; undergraduates must have attained at least junior level status
(60 credits);
demonstrate interest in pursuing a career related to national security or defense;
demonstrate financial need;
have a minimum grade point average of 3.25;
be a woman;
and be a citizen of the United States.

MAPA is offering a scholarship for students majoring in Accounting. The main criterion for selection is
financial need. Several other aspects are also considered, among them grades, commitment to the profession
and future goals.

Program: Mathematics
Candidates for the scholarship must be U.S. citizens or resident aliens who live in Nassau or Suffolk County, or
the boroughs of Brooklyn or Queens. They must be accepted for credit in a degree-oriented program at an
accredited institution. Their program of study must be either at the junior or senior undergraduate level or at the
first-year graduate level, to be pursued on a half-time or greater basis.

Award is open to any student officially recognized as an undergraduate health education major at any four year
University/college; must currently be enrolled full time (12 hrs) for both the Fall and Spring semesters in which
the recipient is applying; must have sophomore, junior, or senior at the time of application; must have a
