When can I apply for this scholarship? On or after March 1.
What is the application deadline? The completed application must be postmarked by June 15, for the fall
semester. The completed application must be postmarked by November 15, for the spring semester.
• Pine Tree State 4-H Foundation Scholarship
Who is eligible to apply? Any senior with a record of 4-H activities who is graduating from a Maine high
school.
Scholarship amount: $1,000
How are the scholarships awarded? A committee of the 4-H Foundation reviews applications and selects
recipients. Awards to graduating high school seniors are based primarily on academic achievement and 4-H
activities. The scholarships are not renewable.
Application process: High school applicants must submit an application, a high school transcript, a
recommendation from a county extension agent or a 4-H leader, and their 4-H story. Applications are available
from high school Guidance Offices, county extension offices, and Pine Tree State 4-H Foundation,University of

Who is eligible to apply? Applicants must be a dependent of an individual employed full-time by an RMA
member bank or dependent of an individual RMA associate. Applicant must be enrolled on a full-time basis at
an accredited institution of higher learning. applications accepted for all undergraduate courses of study.
However, special emphasis will be placed on individuals enrolled in a business or economic field of study.
Scholarship amount: $750
Application process: Applicant must fully complete the scholarship application. Applicant must provide an
official college transcript of grades. In a personal statement of 500 words or less, the applicant must describe
their personal goals and how their educational plans relate to them.
