Who is eligible to apply? This scholarship is offered to women 30 years and older for job-related
continuing education. Applicants must be Maine residents.
Scholarship amount: $1,200
How are the scholarships awarded? The recipients of the above three scholarship will be submitted
to the BPW State Federation for consideration for $1,200 scholarships in each category. Applicants
should be sure to state their financial needs.
Application process: Applications may be obtained at the financial aid office of most Maine
colleges. Applications for the foregoing three scholarships may be obtained as listed under each
scholarship or by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to:

Who is eligible to apply? This scholarship is offered to girls who are seniors and will be attending
college in the fall. Applicants must be Maine residents.
Scholarship amount: The scholarship amount is up to $1,200.
How are the scholarships awarded? Applicants should be sure to state their financial needs.

• Brunswick Area Student Aid Fund
Who is eligible to apply? Maine graduates of: Brunswick High School, Mt. Ararat High School, or a resident of
the Brunswick area who could have attended either of the two high schools listed, but instead chose a private
high school.
Scholarship amount: $800 to $1,500
How are the scholarships awarded? Based on need, determined by a formula, which uses financial information
listed on the student's FAFSA (a copy must be filed with one of the guidance offices by March 15th).
Scholarship is renewable by reapplying (allowed two years of receiving BASAF award).

Who is eligible to apply? Any Maine resident who is a high school senior or higher.
Scholarship amount: $500
How are the scholarships awarded? Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement and financial
need. The state is divided into seven districts.
