• Boothbay Regional Student Aid Fund
Who is eligible to apply? Any graduate of Boothbay Region High School who is a resident of Boothbay,
Boothbay Harbor, Southport, or Edgecomb.
Scholarship amount: Varies with need.
How are the scholarships awarded? Awards are based on financial need. This scholarship is renewable by
reapplying.

What is the application deadline? Completed application must be received by May 1 of the award year.
• Boulos Family Scholarship
The Scholarship can be used at any regionally accredited Maine College or University. The Boulos Family
Scholarship is for MAINE military personnel who served in Iraq or Afghanistan in the post-September 11, 2001
conflicts. Military personnel who served, or are currently serving in the U.S. Military, National Guard or
Reserves, and/or those who have been honorably discharged are eligible for the scholarship. Scholarship
recipients must have been a MAINE resident prior to serving in either conflict.
Any individual who meets the Scholarship eligibility criteria, regardless of financial need, may receive a Boulos
Family Scholarship. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
How it works: To receive the Scholarship, Maine veterans who meet the eligibility criteria must complete a
Boulos Family Scholarship application form with a college official. You will need to show official verification
of military service (DD-214 or other official documentation). The Scholarship may be used for credit courses,
and/or for any undergraduate or graduate program of study. It may be used to cover such costs as tuition, fees,
books, supplies, room & board, and general student support. Recipients may attend college as full-time or parttime
students. The full scholarship award must be used within four years of the initial award.
Deadline is February 1, 2005.

Maine Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Club Scholarships
These scholarships established by the Maine Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc. to
be awarded annually, through the BPW FUTURAMA scholarship program. Completed applications for the
scholarships must be received by April 20 th .
o Futurama Continuing Education Scholarship –
Who is eligible to apply? This scholarship is offered to women now enrolled in college. Applicants
must be Maine residents.
Scholarship amount: $1,200.
How are the scholarships awarded? Applicants should be sure to state their financial needs.
