We appreciate your interest and will do everything possible to meet your needs. Please take a few minutes to read through the information on this page and to familiarize yourself with this publication. Thank you again for your interest and coverage and enjoy the season! MEDIA CREDENTIALS/PARKING Media credentials will be issued only to working media, sports information/media relations personnel, league officials or staff members of competing institutions with a legitimate need for access to the press box. Requests for media credentials, season or single-game, for the 2006-07 season must be made in advance with Jayson Hajdu (701-777-2986) in the UND Media Relations Office. It is asked that you submit credential requests at least one week prior to the game you will be covering. The northwest parking lot of the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center will serve as the media parking lot and can be accessed with your media credential. PRESS SEATING Members of the media will be seated either at the courtside press row table or in an auxiliary press box in the upper level of the stands. Cheering and betting in the press box will not be tolerated and violators will be removed from the press box. PRESS BOX OPERATIONS Game programs, game notes, statistics and media guides will be available at press row prior to and during all home games. Statistics will be distributed at half time and immediately following each game. All working media will have access to wireless Internet and phone data lines. A copy machine is also available in the press box. PHOTOGRAPHERS Photography credentials are issued to media and institutional photographers only. Photographers must remain in designated areas of the arena. RADIO/TELEVISION The Betty Engelstad Sioux Center press row can accommodate two radio stations, and two additional stations may be accommodated in the upper press box. On-air television talent can also be accommodated in the upper press box. Radio and television stations wishing to broadcast games from the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center are asked to contact basketball media relations director Jayson Hajdu at least two weeks prior to the event you are covering. INTERVIEWS The UND athletic media relations office is eager to assist the media with student-athlete and coach interview requests. In order to help in this endeavor, it is asked that all media requests be made in advance through basketball media relations director Jayson Hajdu at (701) 777-2986. Players will return phone calls once requested through the media relations office. As per UND Athletics policy, phone numbers of student-athletes will not be disclosed to members of the media. Student-athletes and coaches are also available for interviews before and after practice and all practices are open to the media. However, it is asked that media members wishing to attend practice contact Jayson Hajdu in advance. The coaching staff and student athletes are also available for postgame interviews and all interviews will take place in the studentathlete lounge, adjacent to the main lobby of the Engelstad Sioux Center. The locker room, training room and weight room are closed to the media. 4

MEDIA COVERAGE FIGHTINGSIOUX.COM: UND’s home on the web THE FIGHTING SIOUX SPORTS NETWORK The Fighting Sioux Sports Network (FSSN) provides UND fans with television coverage throughout the region, on Channel 23 in Grand Forks and on select Midcontinent cable stations. Two Fighting Sioux men’s basketball games are scheduled to be televised on the FSSN in 2006-07, with WDAZ-TV sports director Pat Sweeney calling the action: * November 21 vs. Northern State * January 4 vs. St. Cloud State Check your local listings to find the Fighting Sioux Sports Network in your area! Schedule subject to change. THE FIGHTING SIOUX RADIO NETWORK KSNR-FM (100.3) is the flagship station of Fighting Sioux men’s basketball, home and away.
