tion in <strong>North</strong> <strong>Dakota</strong>,<br />
the new Ralph Engelstad Arena (above and right) has<br />
become widely regarded as the finest hockey facility in<br />
the world. The premiere home to college hockey, the<br />
Engelstad Arena has just about everything. e<br />
As soon as fans enter the doors, they know they are in the<br />
Fighting Sioux hockey arena. Seven NCAA and 14 WCHA<br />
championship banners hang proudly from the rafters.<br />
MEMORIAL STADIUM<br />
Memorial Stadium (left) is the most historic building among<br />
the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>North</strong> <strong>Dakota</strong> athletic facilities. It boasts a<br />
rich and<br />
colorful history that continues today, serving as the<br />
practice<br />
home and <strong>of</strong>fices for <strong>North</strong> <strong>Dakota</strong> football.<br />
KRAFT FIELD<br />
The <strong>North</strong> <strong>Dakota</strong> baseball team plays its home games at Kraft<br />
Field, a facility owned and operated by the Grand Forks Park<br />
District that includes bleacher seating for 2,000 in a picturesque<br />
setting with evergreens lining the outfield fences. The facility<br />
recently received a new artificial infield prior to the 2011 season.<br />
