Note: A site visit will be organized on 09 August 2010, at 09:00 am Kunduz hrs time in UNDP ELECT Kunduz Guest

payments by Letters of Credit. Such provisions will be prejudicial to its evaluation

20 Ft Accommodation Container For Internal Guard ( Lot No: 1 ) 

Provision, transportation & installation of require one 20 Ft Accommodation Container. 

The 20 Ft Accommodation Container designed for 6 persons & it have to be equipped as below. 

Total insulation thickness around walls & ceiling of this containers (frame, glass wool, & lasani plank) to 

be 12 cm

Require Construction works for Security up grading Of Kunduz ELECT GH ( Lot No:3 ) 

1.) Vehicle Entry Points

Provision/installation of 2 x sturdy boom gate barriers (double pipe on top of each other) with lockable pin 

with Length = 6 Meter, Height = 1 Meter steel pipe = 4 Inch anchor pillars to have require PCC concrete 

foundation. 

2.) Guard Services ( Firing Position ) 

U-shape concrete firing position, covered with additional sand bags and a corrugated iron roof top with 

Height= 2 Meter, Length = 1.5 Meter Width = 1.5 Meter with thickness on 40 cm firing position to be 

constructed with brick and cement; Floor to be leveled with gravel, sandbags staged all around for additional 

protection with corrugated metallic shelter size 3 x 2 M. 

3.) Exterior Windows/Doors 

3-1: Covering of ground floor windows and doors with 25kg sandbags total area size (25 x 3) Meter to be 

covered by sand bag double layer of sandbags staggered to cover all identified external windows. Sandbags 

to be filled with sand closed and arranged. The sewing machine (along with one stand by) must be provided 

by the awarded company. Total require sandbags proximately = 3000 ( the actual require sandbags to be 

identified by contractor) 

3-2 : Covering of a windows and doors with sheet metal and re-enforcement with additional sheet metal 

(minimum 5mm thickness) Total area to be covered metal sheets (in all 18.6 sq meters): (1) Kitchen 

Window= 1.35m x 2m (1) Kitchen Door= 1m x 2.5m (2) Room window =2.25m x 2.15m (1) Pedestrian
