Training and Certification FCP T3 Final Cut Pro X Train-the-Trainer This intensive, four-day course prepares training professionals and industry experts to deliver Apple's Final Cut Pro X Level One curriculum. The course combines lectures with hands-on, case study exercises that reinforce practical skills. Before attending this class, you should review the Apple Pro Training Series: “Final Cut Pro X” courseware. Once accepted to the ACT program, you will be sent a link to order the book online at a 35% discount. You must bring the book and DVD to class with you. This courseware will also help you prepare for the end-user exam that you must pass before attending the T3. Trainer Certification To attend a Pro Applications Train-the-Trainer (T3) course, you must first be accepted into the Apple Certified Trainer (ACT) for Pro Apps program. To become an ACT - Final Cut Pro Level One, you must attend the Final Cut Pro T3 course, and pass the presentation evaluation and the certification exam. The exam is administered during the last day of class. To earn Final Cut Pro Level Two ACT status, you must first earn your Final Cut Pro X Level One ACT certification by attending the FCP T3 course. Before applying to become a Final Cut Pro Level Two ACT, you must first teach at least three Final Cut Pro X Level One courses which will be validated via student evaluations. You must then complete a trainer application and pass the online trainer certification exam. Details on how to take the exam are provided once your Level Two trainer application is accepted. Please indicate that you are a Final Cut Pro X Level One trainer in your application and indicate the Apple Authorized Training Centers (AATCs) where you taught. Prerequisites Candidates must meet the following prerequisites prior to attending this course: • Final Cut Pro X Level One enduser certification is required. • An accepted ACT application. • Attendance at an FCP 101 (PDF) and FCP 200 (PDF) end-user course is recommended but not required. • Minimum of one year of experience using Final Cut Pro.
