bursts, or for other purposes—such as<br />
rapid changing of nozzles, hoses, and so<br />

fabricated of various materials including<br />
cotton-synthetic or lightweight synthetic<br />
fire hose, bicycle inner tube, duct tape,<br />
rubber or plastic liners and rubber bands.<br />
Purpose: Hose clamps without the inserts<br />
will slip out of position (when used with<br />
lightweight synthetic fire hose) thus not<br />
clamping effectively under normal working<br />
pressure.<br />
