Combination fabric jackets come in both 1-<br />

and 12 inch diameters, and are usually<br />

furnished in 50- and 100-foot lengths.<br />

Type: Single jacket fabric, rubber lined.<br />

Construction and materials: The jacket<br />

consists of woven cotton and polyester<br />

filler yarn. The liner is a petroleum-based<br />

thermoplastic polyester elastomer with a<br />

smooth inner surface. The jacket and liner<br />

are bonded together.<br />

resistant, with a working pressure of<br />

45 psi.<br />

Construction and materials: The jacket<br />

consists of interwoven synthetic warp and<br />

filler yarns. The liner consists of synthetic<br />

rubber or a combination of other synthetic<br />

material with a smooth inner surface. The<br />

lining is fully bonded to the jacket.<br />

lined type II hose<br />

Type: Lined, woven single-jacket,<br />

abrasion, and mildew resistant, with a<br />

working pressure of 450 psi.<br />

Construction and materials: The jacket<br />

consists of synthetic filler yarn woven<br />

around the hose throughout its length with<br />

warp yarn interwoven to enhance abrasion<br />

resistance. The liner is composed of<br />

natural or synthetic rubber compound or<br />

thermoplastic. The hose is treated to be<br />

mildew resistant.<br />
