To maintain red card currency a SEMG is required to attend an<br />

approved SEAT Manager Workshop triennially. Elements and<br />

criteria of an approved SEAT Manager Workshop can be found on<br />

Basic <strong>Air</strong> <strong>Operations</strong> (S-270)<br />

Triennial Refresher (RT-273)<br />

Additional training supporting development of knowledge and<br />

skills<br />

Firefighter Training (S-130)<br />

Introduction to ICS (I-100)<br />

Required Experience<br />

Satisfactory position performance as a <strong>Single</strong> <strong>Engine</strong> <strong>Air</strong> <strong>Tanker</strong><br />

Manager<br />

Physical Fitness<br />

None<br />

Other position assignments that will maintain currency<br />

Helicopter Manager<br />

<strong>Air</strong> <strong>Tanker</strong> Base Manager,<br />

Fixed Wing Base Manager<br />

Desirable experience for entry level SEAT Manager training<br />

includes aircraft specific radio operations and communications,<br />

aircraft dispatching procedures, fixed-wing base management,<br />

air tanker base management, and mixmaster.<br />

I. SEMG Dress Code.<br />

The intent of establishing a dress code for SEMGs is to maintain a<br />

level of safety for the manager and to instill a professional standard in<br />

appearance and enhance recognition while representing the<br />

Government during SEAT operations. SEMGs will be required to<br />

adhere to the following dress code:<br />

Shirts must have sleeves with some type of crew neck or collar<br />

(no tank tops, scooped necked or mid-waist shirts). Shirts may be<br />

short sleeved but no tank tops or sleeveless shirt are approved.<br />
