Luke joined Thomas Miller in 1971 with a degree in
classics from Oxford University. His early career was
on the claims handling side, working with members
from Greece, the UK and in particular Japan, Korea
and China. Luke became a partner of Thos R Miller &
Son in 1982. He transferred to Millers' professional
indemnity division in 1997 where he was involved in
the management of the UK based mutuals and in the
establishment of OPDU. Luke became Deputy Chairman
of Thomas Miller P&I Ltd. in 2001 and has been
Chairman since 2004.

Hugo joined Thomas Miller in 1978 after successful
completion of the Bar Finals examination. A UK Club
Syndicate Manager from 1984 he was elected to
the partnership in 1989. Hugo’s involvement with
the UK P&I Club continues today as Chief Executive
of the Club’s management since 2004. He is also
Chairman of the International Group of P&I Clubs
reinsurance sub-committee. A member of the
Thomas Miller Holdings Board since incorporation
in 1999, Hugo was elected Chairman of Thomas
Miller in June 2009.

Daniel joined Thomas Miller in 1992, prior to which
he spent four years as a practising solicitor in New
Zealand. Having spent five years in Greece as Area
Director he returned to London in January 2003 to
take up the position of Senior Claims Director for
Thomas Miller Defence. He is now responsible for
all of the Defence Club's activities.

After five years as a P&I broker Paul joined the
Underwriting Department in 2001. He is an underwriter
for the Club's Greek Members.

Mark Mathews joined Thomas Miller in September
2010 as a Senior Underwriting Director for the
UK P&I and UK Defence Clubs, having previously
been an Underwriter at the Shipowners P&I Club.
Prior to becoming an underwriter, Mark spent 28
years as a marine insurance broker.

Rod is a master mariner and has degrees in Nautical Studies, Law and a MBA. Rod was the Area Director
for L1/4 before moving to Greece in November 2008. Rod is also a Senior Claims Director.

Senior Claims Director P&I
Tony practiced as a solicitor before joining Thomas
Miller in 1990. He is the H1 claims specialist for the
co-ordination of large and complex P&I claims but he
also handles varying types of P&I and FD&D cases.

Alexandra joined Thomas Miller in 1994. She is a
qualified Greek and English solicitor. Alexandra
joined TM(H) in 1998 and handles FD&D and P&I
disputes. She is a Senior Claims Director for

Marc spent four years at the Bar and a further two
years handling Defence cases with another P&I Club.
He joined Thomas Miller in 1998 and deals with both
P&I and Defence matters. Marc is a Senior Claims

Panagiotis Alikaris
Cedric Chatteleyn
Takis joined TM(H) in 1997 before which he was
with the UK Club's Greek correspondent. Takis
deals predominantly with P&I claims.

Nick Milner
Evangelos Nomikos
Nick joined TM(H) in 1999. Nick specialises in both
FD&D and P&I claims. He is a qualified barrister
with experience in a ship operating company and a
marine litigation firm in Piraeus.

Van worked in London for Rethymnis & Kulukundis
before joining Maritime Services, the UK Club's
correspondents in 1974. Van joined TM(H) in 1997.
In conjunction with Ernie, Van handles personal
injury and “people” cases for H1 Members.

Costas Zoidis
Costas joined TM(H) in July 2000, having previously
worked for a Piraeus shipowning company. He has
a diploma and post-graduate diploma in Shipping.
