Eric Fry enters his second season with the <strong>Kentucky</strong> basketball<br />
program after serv<strong>in</strong>g as an assistant athletic tra<strong>in</strong>er for<br />
three years with the Colorado men’s basketball team. Prior to his<br />
time at Colorado, Fry spent two years at the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong><br />
Denver serv<strong>in</strong>g as the volleyball, men's lacrosse, and men’s and<br />
women’s ski teams.<br />
Fry was a graduate assistant athletic tra<strong>in</strong>er for the <strong>University</strong><br />
<strong>of</strong> Wiscons<strong>in</strong> before jo<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g the Pioneer athletic tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g staff.<br />
He worked primarily with the Badger men’s and women's swimm<strong>in</strong>g<br />
and div<strong>in</strong>g teams along with the men’s and women’s soccer<br />
teams. He traveled to Europe with the women's soccer team just<br />
before mov<strong>in</strong>g to Denver <strong>in</strong> 2002.<br />
He completed his undergraduate studies at Purdue <strong>University</strong> <strong>in</strong><br />
2000 and received a bachelor’s degree <strong>in</strong> athletic tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g followed<br />
by earn<strong>in</strong>g a master's degree <strong>in</strong> Higher Education Adm<strong>in</strong>istration<br />
<strong>in</strong> May <strong>of</strong> 2002. While at Purdue he worked as a student athletic<br />
tra<strong>in</strong>er with the football, baseball, and basketball teams. Dur<strong>in</strong>g his<br />
time there he had the opportunity to work as an <strong>in</strong>tern athletic<br />
tra<strong>in</strong>er with the Kenai Pen<strong>in</strong>sula Oilers, a summer baseball team<br />
located <strong>in</strong> Kenai, Alaska.<br />
Fry is a certified member <strong>of</strong> the National Athletic Tra<strong>in</strong>ers’<br />
Association and College Athletic Tra<strong>in</strong>ers’ Society. Fry volunteers<br />
for the U.S. Olympic Committee’s Sports Medic<strong>in</strong>e<br />
Department and was <strong>in</strong> Bangkok, Thailand for the 2007<br />
World <strong>University</strong> Games as the athletic tra<strong>in</strong>er for the U.S.<br />
Tae Kwon Do and golf teams.<br />
