less, consumes less imported fossil fuels, and efficiently
serves the mobility needs of a growing population. Learn
about Metro’s operational, fleet, technology, and market
development initiatives and long-standing commitment to
progressive environmental policies and investments. This
session highlights Metro’s efforts in developing hybrid transit
vehicles, designing LEED-certified buildings, implementing
“Clean Green” practices, and increasing market share through
innovative transportation demand management programs.
