14 year-old Mohibullah is training to be
a tailor in Afghanistan
In Myanmar, we provided chickens,
rice seed, and micro-loans to nearly
7,000 families last year though
different livelihood projects. We help
orphans and vulnerable children in
Mozambique support their younger
siblings by teaching them a trade. In
Afghanistan, Mohibullah is one of
300 children happily swapping the
streets for vocational skills training
and the change of a job. In Ethiopia,
goat rearing and agriculture training is
helping families to diversify livelihoods.
In Nepal, Colombia, Ghana and Kenya,
our YouthSave project uses workshops
and special bank accounts to teach and
encourage adolescents to save towards
their futures.
