in memoriam Eloise Kibbie Eloise Kibbie, 91, Nordl<strong>and</strong>, WA, <strong>for</strong>mer CMSU head reference librarian, died July 23, 2005. She earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism at the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> Iowa in 1936 <strong>and</strong> a master’s degree in library science Eloise Kibbie at the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> Denver in 1959. She was head reference librarian at CMSU from 1959-1979. She lived in Warrensburg until 1998 when she moved to Washington. She was a member <strong>of</strong> Pi Beta Phi sorority <strong>and</strong> the PEO Sisterhood. Max McCulloch Max McCulloch, 68, Warrensburg, CMSU pr<strong>of</strong>essor emeritus, died Oct. 18, 2005, in Kansas City. He was born May 16, 1937, a son <strong>of</strong> the late Beamus <strong>and</strong> Neva Minatra McCulloch. He graduated from Coleman High School in 1955 <strong>and</strong> married Laverne Cooper in 1957 in Big Spring. He was a pr<strong>of</strong>essor at Max McCulloch CMSU from 1971 to 1996. He taught in <strong>and</strong> coordinated the computer labs in the College <strong>of</strong> Education <strong>and</strong> Human Services. Margaret C. Culp Feidt Margaret C. Culp Feidt, 92, <strong>of</strong> Philadelphia, PA, died Sept. 29, 2005. A 1934 CMSU graduate, she earned both AB <strong>and</strong> BS degrees. As a student, she was active in YWCA, Student Council, Panhellenic, Crescendo Club <strong>and</strong> May Fete. She received a master’s degree from the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Missouri</strong> <strong>and</strong> taught high school English in Pennsylvania. She donated the Culp family home <strong>and</strong> property to CMSU, which became the site <strong>of</strong> the Culp-Feidt Fountain, on the west side <strong>of</strong> campus. She had fond memories <strong>of</strong> the homecoming floats her sorority built in the home’s garage. Her parents, Jesse <strong>and</strong> Judith Rice Culp, built the home in 1908. Her brother, Lel<strong>and</strong>, <strong>and</strong> wife, Zinn, were the last occupants <strong>of</strong> the home. Both are now deceased. Margaret funded a scholarship in memory <strong>of</strong> her brother <strong>and</strong> parents through the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation. It is awarded each year Margaret Culp Feidt, ’34 Rhetor to a CMSU student in the College <strong>of</strong> Arts <strong>and</strong> Sciences. Margaret received a national award from Alpha Gamma Delta <strong>for</strong> distinguished service. A stepson, John Thorpe Feidt Jr., survives.
