15.4 MEASUREMENT PROCEDURE<br />
15.4.1<br />
Core rails, handrails, fascias, mouldings and the like shall be measured in metres.<br />
15.4.2<br />
Special finishes to ends, joints, changes in direction, drillings, bolts, special fittings<br />
and the like shall be enumerated.<br />

15.4.3<br />
Castings, forgings, sunshields, tubular supports, partitions, newels, balusters, bolts,<br />
rods, straps, bars, brackets, gratings, guard bars, mat frames, balustrading (where<br />
made as a unit), gates, grilles and the like shall be enumerated and described.<br />
15.4.4<br />
Sheathing, lining, panelling, flat plateand chequer plate shall be measured in square<br />
metres. The description shall include provision for all laps. Deductions shall be made<br />
for all openings having an area of 0.5 m2 and over.<br />
Edges, angles, joints, stop ends, finishing members and the like shall be measured<br />
in metres.<br />
15.4.5<br />
Raking and circular cutting to sheathings and the like shall be measured in metres.<br />
15.4.6<br />
Where shop drawings and the like are required, an appropriate item shall be<br />
scheduled.<br />
