11.4 MEASUREMENT PROCEDURE<br />
11 .4.1<br />
Asphalting over and around pockets, bonding bricks, blocks and the like shall be<br />
separately enumerated and the descriptions shall include arrises and fillets in<br />
connection therewith.<br />
11.4.2<br />
Pavings and roof coverings shall each be measured separately; if to falls or to falls<br />
and cross falls they shall be sodescribed and shall include all labourto intersections.<br />
Work to bays, dormers and the like shall be measured separately.<br />

11.4.3<br />
Gutters, kerbs, channels, skirtings, coves, angles, fillets and the like, when forming<br />
part of general asphalt work, shall be measured in metres as extra value. Isolated<br />
work shall be measured separately.<br />
11.4.4<br />
Outlets, linings to sumps, asphalt collars around pipes, railing standards and the like<br />
shall be enumerated.<br />
11.4.5<br />
Permanent protection shall be measured in square metres.<br />
