This course updates participants with the current skills and techniques used in the die making industry. Learning Outcome Upon successful completion of this course, participants will learn the latest technologies used in the die making field during the entire die construction process. Applied Industrial Technology: FUNDAMENTALS OF METALLURGY (WLT 200) Course Description The participant should be able to identify common metals used in auto plants; determine a metal’s repair characteristics for welding or machining; quench and flame harden metals; perform hardness tests; and prepare metal for repair welding procedures.
