CATIA V5 FUNDAMENTALS (CAT 101)
Course Description
The participant will understand the fundamentals of the CATIA V5 Computer Aided Design
software and understand the basic philosophy of the software, as well as the Sketcher and
Part Design Workbenches.
Learning Outcome
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:
1. create new part files in the CATIA V5 software;
2. understand the basic philosophy of the CATIA V5 software;
3. create, constrain, and edit 2D sketches;
4. understand the various CATIA V5 solid-modeling commands; and
5. obtain necessary part information.
