Course Description
This course provides participants with the skills and knowledge to maintain and troubleshoot
both hardware and software for A-B DeviceNet. Emphasis is placed on effective maintenance
and troubleshooting of the DeviceNet hardware and software.
Learning Outcome
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:
1. understand A-B DeviceNet components and how DeviceNet differs from other
networks;
2. understand and use the PLC5 Memory;
3. successfully navigate through RS NetWorx software for DeviceNet; and
4. successfully troubleshoot a DeviceNet network.

Prerequisites
