SELECT MAJOR WATER MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES<br />

• Lake Columbia will provide 75,700 acre-feet per year of water starting in the year 2020 with a capital cost of<br />

$232 million<br />

• New wells in the Carrizo Wilcox Aquifer will provide up to 21,403 acre-feet per year of water in 2060 with a<br />

capital cost of $40 million.<br />

• Lake Palestine Infrastructure (diversion facilities and pipelines) will provide 16,815 acre-feet per year of<br />

water starting in 2030 with a capital cost of $79 million.<br />

• Lake Kurth <strong>Regional</strong> System will provide up to 18,400 acre-feet per year of water starting in 2010, with a<br />

capital cost of $56 million.<br />
