Come and Visit us
If you are considering studying at Stirling, we would love you to
come and visit in person if possible, either before or after you apply.
There’s no substitute for seeing our beautiful campus first-hand!
OPEN DAYS
We hold Open Days in September/October each year.
They are an ideal way to find out more before you submit
your programme applications.
APPLICANT DAYS
These are for prospective undergraduate students who
have applied to Stirling. You will receive an invitation to
these scheduled days, which normally take place in March
and April each year.
VISIT AFTERNOONS
If you are unable to make an Open Day or Applicant Day,
we run these throughout the year.
Visiting INDependently
If none of this is possible, please contact our Student
Recruitment and Admissions Service to arrange an individual
visit. If no academic member of staff is available, our student
recruitment team will happily offer advice and guidance on
our programmes. We can also offer a tour of the campus
and facilities.

By air
You can choose from either Edinburgh or Glasgow airports,
both of which offer direct flights and connections to a
wide range of domestic and international destinations.
We even provide an airport pick-up service at the start
of each semester.
By road or rail
Stirling is well connected to the UK road and rail network,
providing easy access to cities throughout the UK. It is less
than one hour to Glasgow or Edinburgh.
Getting around
Our campus is 2.5km away from Stirling city centre, and is
well connected by a regular, frequent bus service to the city
and the surrounding area.
