It organises and provides everything you could possibly want. Stirling University Students’ union You will automatically become a member of the Students’ Union when you register at University. From then on, what you do is up to you – including helping to run activities if you want. The Union thinks of itself as your ‘second home’. As well as offering its own welfare and information service, The Union runs a range of venues together with an entertainment programme catering for all tastes. www.stirlingstudentsunion.com macrobert MacRobert is an established arts venue, right at the centre of the campus. The facilities are exceptional and include a state-of-the-art cinema, café/bar, space for comedy/live music and a large theatre. Student nightlife As well as special events, there are also two student bars on campus – Studio and the Long Bar – that offer a relaxed environment to unwind, catch up with friends and lounge on the comfy sofas. The bars have plasma screens and wireless internet. Clubs and societies Student clubs and societies are an important part of student life at Stirling. With well over 50 clubs to choose from, there is certain to be something that captures your interest. By getting involved, you’ll gain valuable experience, have fun and meet new friends along the way. Popular clubs include the student radio station, TV station and newspaper as well as drama, music, politics, conservation and photography clubs.

Whatever your sporting passion, you can pursue it here. Whatever your level, Stirling’s a great place to get involved in sport.
