What are the criteria for this scholarship?<br />

The scholarship will be awarded on the basis <strong>of</strong> academic merit. Candidates must<br />

have, or expect to obtain the international equivalent <strong>of</strong> a UK upper second class<br />

degree at undergraduate level.<br />

You must have accepted an <strong>of</strong>fer <strong>of</strong> a place to study one <strong>of</strong> the named programmes<br />

at the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Stirling</strong><br />

You must articulate your vision <strong>of</strong> how you intend your future career to develop, and<br />

how your intended postgraduate course will help you achieve that vision. You<br />

should provide evidence <strong>of</strong> your commitment to these goals based on your previous<br />

practical or academic achievement.<br />

Recipients <strong>of</strong> this scholarship cannot be in receipt <strong>of</strong> any other <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Stirling</strong><br />

scholarship<br />

Financial need cannot be taken into consideration.<br />

How do I apply?<br />

Once you have accepted an <strong>of</strong>fer to study at <strong>Stirling</strong> on one <strong>of</strong> the following programmes<br />

Retail Management, Investment Analysis, International Accounting & Finance, Banking<br />

and Finance, Behavioural Science for Management, Human Resource Management and<br />

Socio-Economic Development, International Business, International Business & Socio<br />

Economic Development, Energy Management, Environmental Economics, Finance,<br />

Human Resource Management, Management, Marketing, Master <strong>of</strong> Business<br />

Administration.<br />

then complete the form below and submit a 1000 word (max) statement about how your<br />

chosen programme will benefit your intended future career and evidence your commitment<br />

to these goals.<br />

The deadline for applications is 12 June 2013<br />

When will I hear if I have been successful?<br />

Successful applicants will normally be informed four weeks after the deadline. Although we<br />

may contact you with a decision in principle based on any predicted grades, your award<br />

will not be formally approved until you hold an unconditional firm <strong>of</strong>fer.
