Santander Master’s Scholarship
The University of Stirling is pleased to offer nine £5,000 taught postgraduate scholarships
funded by the Santander Universities scheme. The University is proud to be part of the
Santander Network of Universities and grateful to Santander for the provision of these
scholarships.
Who is eligible to apply for this scholarship?
Applicants who are permanently resident in the following countries may apply:
Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Germany, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico,
Singapore, Spain, Russia, UK, Uruguay, USA
To which courses does this scholarship apply?
The Scholarship is open to those students wishing to study Retail Management,
Investment Analysis, International Accounting & Finance, Banking and Finance,
Behavioural Science for Management, Human Resource Management and Socio-
Economic Development, International Business, International Business & Socio Economic
Development, Energy Management, Environmental Economics, Finance, Human
Resource Management, Management, Marketing, Master of Business Administration,
How much is the scholarship worth?
£5,000 for 1 year only
How is this scholarship paid?
Scholarships are paid by a reduction in tuition fee.
How many scholarships are awarded annually?
4 scholarships - Stirling Master of Business Administration (MBA)
2 scholarships - MSc Behavioural Science for Management
3 scholarships for on any of the following programmes:
Retail Management, Investment Analysis, International Accounting &
Finance, Banking and Finance, Human Resource Management and Socio-
Economic Development, International Business, International Business &
Socio Economic Development, Energy Management, Environmental
Economics, Finance, Human Resource Management, Management,
Marketing.
scholarships are awarded for students commencing their studies in September 2013.

What are the criteria for this scholarship?
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. Candidates must
have, or expect to obtain the international equivalent of a UK upper second class
degree at undergraduate level.
You must have accepted an offer of a place to study one of the named programmes
at the University of Stirling
You must articulate your vision of how you intend your future career to develop, and
how your intended postgraduate course will help you achieve that vision. You
should provide evidence of your commitment to these goals based on your previous
practical or academic achievement.
Other information about this scholarship
Recipients of this scholarship cannot be in receipt of any other University of Stirling
scholarship
Financial need cannot be taken into consideration.

chosen programme will benefit your intended future career and evidence your commitment
to these goals.

The deadline for applications is 12 June 2013
When will I hear if I have been successful?
Successful applicants will normally be informed four weeks after the deadline. Although we
may contact you with a decision in principle based on any predicted grades, your award
will not be formally approved until you hold an unconditional firm offer.
