More than 450 Usborne Books & More Consultants and Leaders gathered in<br />
Tulsa, Oklahoma in June for a weekend of networking, training, recognition, and<br />
FUN!<br />
Our keynote speaker, Julie Anne Jones, along with guest speakers and success<br />
stories from UBAM Consultants and Leaders left attendees feeling energized<br />
and empowered!<br />
Saturday evening included the Grand Awards Banquet, where the nations’ top<br />
achievements in sales and recruiting were recognized. The evening concluded<br />
with the presentation of the 2012 President’s Award to Jill and Jeremy Cox. We<br />
asked Jill to reflect on her journey toward the President’s Award:<br />
“Much has improved in Usborne Books & More in the last five years. But to<br />
me the most important changes occurred in my own family. My kids are smart<br />
because they’ve grown up surrounded by the best books. They have the courage<br />
and determination to set and achieve goals because they’ve seen me set and<br />
accomplish mine. Although, it was once a source of contention, working and<br />
traveling together has brought Jeremy and I closer than we ever were before<br />
UBAM. I’ve re-discovered “me” and am blessed with friendships and personal<br />
growth and learning. Of course, I still have disappointments and frustrations, but I’ve<br />
learned the value in seeing the bright side and that sacrifice and persistence pay off<br />
huge in the end.”<br />
