FastFix attachments
Fitted without tools and quickly changed:
the FastFix attachments turn a Festool cordless
drill into an angle drill/ driver, eccentric
screwdriver or set-depth screwdriver.
These opportunities are what make Festool cordless drills
unique – such as the CENTROTEC quick-change system, the
FastFix attachments and the EC-TEC drive concept. With each
of these developments, the focal point is on the requirements
of tradesmen – an ergonomic shape, minimal weight and
intuitive tool operation.
That‘s why our development and test labo ratories extend to
the most revealing area: the workshops of our customers. The
findings in this area are extremely valuable – and reflect the
unsparing criticism of the users of our products. This
feedback provides the stimulus for building innovative tools
and systems: cordless drill/driver systems – Made in Germany
– Made by Festool.
CENTROTEC quick-change system
Fast changes between drilling, countersinking and
screw driving: the CENTROTEC quick-change
system is a chuck and bit holder in one. It's also
50% smaller and 80% lighter than a standard drill
chuck. The shaft of the CENTROTEC hex bit seats
directly in the drive mechanism, for optimal power
transfer and a ten-fold increase in accuracy.
EC-TEC motor
The EC-TEC drive concept from Festool stands
for extraordinary power output from minimal
power consumption across the entire speed range
– from driving large screws to drilling at speeds of
up to 1500 rpm. The EC-TEC motor has no
carbon-brushes - making it wear-free and
extremely robust.
