Myers is a mere pup at 22yrs, entering his fourth NHL season, and the vibes coming out of Pegulaville
could not be more positive for this future defensive linchpin.
Sabres General Manager, Darcy Regier, has recently infused this team with muscle and grit, by acquiring
the likes of the aforementioned Ott, enforcer John Scott, veritable battering ram Robyn Regehr, and the
ascension of the pugnacious power forward Marcus Foligno. These additions relieve Myers of the
burden of taking on an entire opposing team by himself. In short, he has more than able back-up,
allowing him to play his game to the fullest, without the anxiety of being taken out by some cheap shot
or gang tackle.
Myers is continuing to grow into his large frame, slowly becoming more comfortable with the physical
play as he learns just how strong he truly is, and while he will never be Chara-like in terms of overall
PIMs, Myers will acquire more than enough to keep GMs pleased. Look for a significant growth in
production across the board with 35pts, 130 Hits, and 85 PIMs. All with room to grow!

“Kid Dyn-O-Mite” has a new bodyguard and space-maker in Marcus
Foligno (more on him later), and their respective styles complement
one another better than obnoxious neckwear and Don Cherry. This
duo is crazy-good on the ice, with Foligno’s ability to continual feed
pucks to his shifty centerman, and Ennis’ ability to split defenders
they are a tough tandem to reign in.
New found ice-partner aside, Ennis will also see an increase in TOI
thanks to more opportunities on the power play. The increase is largely due to two factors: (1) Ennis’
slick, water bug like moves and improved play making ability have earned him the extra time, and (2) an
increase in man-advantage opportunities generally, thanks to perennial agitators Ott and Patrick Kaleta -
opposing teams will have fits against these two.
The chemistry demonstrated with Foligno, in addition to more frequent four-on-four and power play
opportunity will result in an offensive uptick across the board. If 63pts, 220 SOG, 8PPG, and a
respectable plus-15 aren’t enough to make fantasy GMs smile then there is no hope for humanity.

Well, you had to expect this guy would be on the list. Thirteen points in 14 games is good for any player,
but the way in which Foligno accumulated them was nothing short of inspirational. Creating space
around opposing netminders, banging the corners in order to feed the puck to the point-man, taking
opposing players out of their element with his fierce, fearless physical style are all ways in which Foligno
puts himself into the best position to create scoring chances.
