Little Folks Camp
Little Folks is a half-day program packed with activities like circle time games, parachute play, playdough
fun, crafts, playground play and time to just be a kid. Little Folks Camp will provide a positive and
unique camp experience for children ages 3 to 5 years old. Our camper to counselor ratio is 6:1. Please
pack a snack and a lunch because campers get hungry with all the exercise. Campers must be toilet
trained, no pull-ups allowed. Your child should be accustomed to leaving you for three hours. Please
have your child dress for play. Pre-registration is mandatory. Campers must be three years of age to
register for this program. Activities are geared for preschool and kindergarten age children. No camp
July 5. No transfers or refunds for missed days! Camp location is subject to change.
*There is a late fee after 12:10pm of $1.00 per minute as determined by staff’s watch.

Camp Tustin
Camp Tustin is a summer day camp program designed for your child who has completed kindergarten
and is entering the 1 st grade up to 10 years old, entering the 5 th grade. Camp Tustin will allow your child
to gain opportunities for self-expression through cooperative games, arts and crafts, drama, outdoor
activities and off-site excursions. Our camper to counselor ratio is 10:1. Each week, Camp Tustin
implements a different theme to which activities and crafts are geared toward. Remember that the
campers get hungry during the day with all this fun and excitement, so please pack a snack and a lunch.
There are usually two offsite excursions a week. One is a major excursion usually to a local theme park.
The other is a minor excursion. Some of the excursions may need additional money for your child to
have lunch, play games, or buy souvenirs. Parent letters, emergency forms and weekly schedules will be
posted on the city’s web-site. No on-site registration allowed, you must register with the Parks and
Recreation Department or on-line. Camp will run from 8:00am to 5:00pm daily. No early drop offs will
be allowed. No camp July 5. No transfers or refunds for missed days!

Tustin Teen Camp
Tustin Teen Camp is for those between the ages of 11 and 14 years old or entering the 6 th grade though
8 th grade! Teen Camp is specifically designed for the “teen” age group with a series of field trips and
minor excursions, teambuilding group activities, games, and crafts. We ask that all participants come
with an open attitude to new experiences and a willingness to make new friends. Our camper to
counselor ratio is 10:1. Tustin Teen Camp will run separately from Camp Tustin. However, the two
camps will join together for all big excursions. Hurry and register for this fun filled camp because it is
very popular and is limited to only 35 teens per week! Remember that the campers get hungry during
the day with all this fun and excitement, so please pack a snack and a lunch. There are 2 off-site
excursions, with one of the excursions being a major excursion and the other being a minor excursion.
Some of the excursions may require additional money for your child to buy lunch, play games, or buy

Counselor in Training Program for Teens
Hey all you teens in 9 th thru 12 th grades, are you looking to volunteer this summer as a camp counselor?
If so, then our Counselor in Training Program is just what you are looking for! The C.I.T. program is a
volunteer program designed for 14 to 17 year olds that will provide participants a rewarding experience
developing valuable skills in areas of leadership, organization, activity planning, time management,

problem solving, teamwork and customer service. This program will also provide an opportunity for
participants to contribute back to the Tustin community through their volunteer work.
C.I.T. volunteers are selected based upon meeting qualifications associated with being a Recreation
Leader in our Camp programs. Some of these qualifications include enjoying working with people, a
positive attitude, able to follow directions and rules, being responsible, knowledge of recreational
programs and activities associated with youth either by previous participation or volunteer experience.
Interested participants may apply by completing and submitting a Counselor in Training
Application. Applications are available on the City’s website at www.tustinca.org under City
Departments, Parks and Recreation. You may also pick up an application at the Columbus Tustin Activity
Center. Applications must be turned in by May 1, 2010. Qualified participants will then be contacted and
interviews will be scheduled. C.I.T.’s will be required to work for one week, Monday through Friday
10:00am-4:00pm or 8:30am-1:00pm, with the exception of longer hours on excursion days, if applicable.
