RESTAURANT/OLD TOWN<br />

These devilish Krampus figures sweep through <strong>the</strong> market sport<strong>in</strong>g<br />

animal sk<strong>in</strong>s and terrify<strong>in</strong>g masks. In Innsbruck, this event does not<br />

get out of hand and is safe.<br />

ST. NICHOLAS PARADE AT MARKTPLATZ<br />

St. Nicholas hands out small gifts to all <strong>the</strong> children, accompanied<br />

Accompanied by a host of angels, St. Nicholas walks from St. Nikolaus<br />

by <strong>the</strong> Bishop and Mayor Christ<strong>in</strong>e Oppitz-Plörer.<br />

ST. NICHOLAS PARADE AND KRAMPUS RUN ON THE HUNGERBURG<br />

St. Nicholas takes <strong>the</strong> funicular up to <strong>the</strong> Hungerburg and gives Santa<br />

sacks to <strong>the</strong> children <strong>the</strong>re. Followed by a “Krampus” (devils’) run.<br />
