NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF
HARRISON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION I. The findings, conclusions, and statements of fact contained in the foregoing
preamble are hereby adopted, ratified, and incorporated herein.
SECTION II.
That the mandatory training requirements for certain county employees
under the National Incident Management System and Incident Command System as
recommended by the Director of the Harrison County Emergency Management/Homeland
Security/E911 Commission will be implemented as follows:
A. The required minimum training for all county employees is: FEMA IS 700 NIMS
Introduction; ICS-100 Introduction to ICS; ICS-200 Basic ICS;
B. The required training for any county employee that oversees or supervises personnel
or volunteers; all foremen and assistants; and Emergency Operations Center staff,
paid or volunteer, is: FEMA IS-700; ICS-100; ICS-200; ICS-300; Intermediate les; and
IS-BOOB National Framework;
C. The required training for all county Department Heads, Assistants, Command Staff,
General Staff, Area Command, and EMA Staff is: FEMA 15-700; ICS-100,' ICS-200;
ICS-300; IS-BOOB, ICS-400, and Advanced ICS.
Supervisor CONNIE ROCKCD seconded the Motion to adopt the above and foregoing
Order, whereupon the question was put to a vote with the following results:

Supervisor MARLIN R. LADNER voted AYE

The majority of the members present having voted in the affirmative, the Motion was
declared carried, and the Order adopted on this the 14th day of September ,2009.
