are deserving of recognition for their devotion and contribution to the game of baseball and
representation of Harrison County and the State of Mississippi.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF
HARRISON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, AS FOLLOWS:
SEC1·ION I.
Upon the adoption of this Resolution, the Harrison County Board of
Supervisors, on behalf of the citizens of Harrison County,
does hereby express sincere
congratulations and appreciation to the Orange Grove Bandits All Stars, for winning the
Southwest Regional Championship, for the hard work, dedication, good sportsmanship, and
enthusiasm for the game exhibited by the players, manager, and coaches, and for bringing
positive acclaim and recognition to Harrison County and the entire State of Mississippi for their
sportsmanship and good citizenship.
SECTION II. A certified copy of this Resolution shall be spread upon the official minutes
of Harrison County and there to remain as a testament to the outstanding hard work, dedication
and good sportsmanship of the Orange Grove Bandits All Stars, the 2009 Southwest Regional
Champions.
Supervisor CONNIE M. ROCKCO seconded the Motion to adopt the above and foregoing
Resolution, whereupon the question was put to a vote with the following results:
Supervisor W. S. SWETMAN III voted AYE
Supervisor KIM B. SAVANT voted AYE
Supervisor MARLIN R. LADNER voted AYE
Supervisor WILLIAM M. MARTIN voted AYE
Supervisor CONNIE ROCKCO voted
AYE
The majority of the members present have voted in the affirmative, the Motion was
declared carried, and the Order adopted on this the 14th day of September, 2009.
