Target monitoring and statistics
What is MyxTry
Myxtry is a system engeneered by VisLab for monitoring
targets such as vehicles, boats or pedestrians moving on a flat
surface of interest.
MyxTry perceive the scene elements byy analyzing the images
coming from a camera placed on an elevated position over the
area to be monitored.
Moving targets
are detected and classified. Information about
their trajectory, size and speed are recorded in a database.
Results can be checked fromm a remote web‐browser linked to
thee system or to a control center c capable of managing several
installation.
Some events such as targets going too fast or targets moving in
a wrong direction or in a prohibited part of the areaa can be
recorded on images or movies
Thee open architecture allows to add external plugins which can
be developed on demand to solve specific needs.
Applications
MyxTry can be applied in all the situations where it is necessary to automatically monitoring traffic flows for
studying statistics such as intensity over the time, the distribution of target size, thee speed distribution over
the time or the most common trajectories.
In ITS environment it can be applied
to situations such as roads, crossroads, parkingss or pedestrian areas. In
marine applications MyxTry can be used for monitoring rivers, channels, lakes or sea. MyxTry can be used
indoor to detect pedestrians moving
on prohibited areas or in prohibited directions. .
Unlikely other technologies, MyxTryy uses a completely passive sensor. Itt can be usedd to obtain real r time
statistics and for recording images for f example when some target speedd is over a certain threshold.
The system keep track of the trajectories of all moving objects detected in the scene. These dataa are
represented
in realtimee on a map. Other statistics, such as the density of o the targetss arrivals and
the
density of the speed can
be viewed on the map, , collected in
graphs or just used as raw data.
Data can be
viewed through the web. It is possible to check the live view, the map view, the statistics or to
directly access raw dataa such as trajectory or recorded images.
MyxTry allows to definee virtual gates on the scene. Each virtual gate cann be associated to actions such as
count or shoot a picture
or record a movie if thee target speed is greater than a certain threshold. These
gates can be
placed anywhere on the visible area for selectivelty counting different traffic flows traversing
specific areas
In case multiple installations are needed it is possible to connect several MyxTry systems to the Network
and manage
them from
a unique control center. Each system
expose its own views (live, map, with several
kind of detections) and its own dataa (detected targets, collected statistics). These informations are
integrated in the control center for being viewed from an operator or through the web.
Features
Detection of every kind of target moving in the image including vehicles, pedestrians, bicycles, boats and
animal. A targets can be
detected when it has a size of at least 10x10 pixel in the framed image.
Recording: target images can be recorded usingg one of the following policy;
‐ vitrual gate crossing
‐ speed greater than a fixed threshold
Live Image: detected targets are identified and shown on the captured image.
Map: detected target are shown on a geo‐referenced map.
Recalibration plugins: you can connect this software to external servicess to get additional calibration data
such as the tide level.
Output plugins: the software support the addition of custom plugins for managing data such as speed
displays or custom processing.
Specifications
Web Server: the internal webserver support the encrypted https protocol.
Live images can be viewed, as well as bird eye view map, statictics on tracked targets.
Web Resources: a control center can show the information coming from several installations and query
them to get views, jointed statistics and managing them.
Logging:
‐ video: mpeg2, mpeg4, xvid, divix, raw (uncompressed)
‐ images: jpg, png, tiff, pnm
‐ database: stores all the trajectory points and the size of each each target.
‐ gates: target identifier detection time and direction
Hardware: PC Intel Core i7 2GHz con 2GB RAM, 2 network cards,
Compatible Cameras: AVT Prosilica GC, other cameras are available on request.
Lenses: 4‐16mm, Corresponding Horizontal Field of view orizzontale (1/3" sensor): 60°‐17
Hardware and installation not included
