<strong>TTS</strong> <strong>Italia</strong> – MAP –ICE Agreement<br />

On March 30 2005, <strong>TTS</strong> <strong>Italia</strong> signed the Operative Agreement with the Ministry of Industry and<br />

ICE –Istituto del Commercio Estero – for the promotion of the <strong>Italia</strong>n ITS division in Eastern European<br />

Countries.<br />

The countries chosen as targets for the first year of activity were Russia and Poland. The activities<br />

regard:<br />

The implementation of a web site aimed at promoting internationally the systems and<br />

services offered by the associate members, particularly in the two target countries;<br />

The organisation/arrangement of a database of strategic contacts on ITS in Russia<br />

and Poland;<br />

The drafting of a study on the market demand in the two target countries (in<br />

collaboration with their respective Foreign Business Institutes);<br />

The organisation of two workshops aimed to present the activities and products of the<br />

associates to the agreement to be carried out in the two target countries (in<br />

collaboration with their respective Foreign Business Institutes);<br />

Participation in National & International Committees<br />

<strong>TTS</strong> <strong>Italia</strong> represents the interests of Associates in various Committees and Working Groups. The<br />

contribution supplied by the Association is aimed in each case at the formation of a consensus on<br />

technical solutions and organisational propositions. In particular, <strong>TTS</strong> <strong>Italia</strong> participates to the<br />

following committees and working groups:<br />

The European Working Groups CEN-UNINFO on standardisation;<br />

The Executive Committee of Federmobility, the Association constituted of Councillors<br />

of Mobility of the principal Municipalities and Regions of Italy;<br />

The Export Group of the European Project ETNITE;<br />

The Export Group of the European Project eScope;<br />

The Technologies Working Group of the Road Safety Council of Rome Province;<br />

The Infrastructure Working Group of the Autotransport Council of the Ministry of<br />

Transport;<br />

The ARTIST User’s Committee;<br />

The Working Group on “Network Management” of the World Roads Association –<br />

AIPCR.<br />
