Communication & Dissemination
The dissemination of knowledge about ITS Systems is one of the priority institutional tasks of TTS
Italia. Since its inception, the Association has dedicated considerable resources to identify and
prepare the most appropriate and qualified communication instruments to guarantee updated
information to members on ITS systems regarding initiatives and projects being carried out and
development trends.
In 2005-2006 the strengthening and evaluation of the Association’s informative methods continued.
Begun in 2002 with the restyling of the web-site, the tri-annual newsletter and the institutional
brochure this process carried on with the publication of the monthly Italian-language newsflash and in
2004 with the publication of “ITS in Italy Breaking News”.
The Association’s contact database has also been the subject of continual updating, thanks to either
advances in research into the ITS market in Italy or participation in national and international
