of common Goatsbeard. Yery common. May to June. (Plate I.<br />

collected in roundish clusters ;<br />

orange. On Thalidrum alpinum.<br />

spots yellow-brown, subiculum thickened ; peridia crowded into a<br />

roundish heap, at first globose, yellow, at length<br />

peridia — sometimes elongated, in roundish or efi'used heaps ; spores<br />

orange. On <strong>the</strong> under surface of Honeysuckle leaves. Not common.<br />

Cups ; aggregate ; peridia somewhat campanulate, with numerous<br />

minute marginal teeth; spores bright orange, subglobose or oval.<br />

— On leaves and petioles of Caltha palustris. Margin of peridia<br />

pale and brittle. Bare. Spring.<br />

Cups; spots obliterated, subiculum thickened; peridia in irregular<br />

heaps, densely crowded toge<strong>the</strong>r ; spores orange.—On leaves<br />

of various Ranunculaceae ; very common on jK. Ficaria, not uncommon<br />

on R. repens, more rarely on R. acris and R. bulhosm<br />
