WE HAVE
THE RIGHT
RECIPE
Quality, tradition
and strength in the price:
these are the ingredients which, carefully dosed, have enabled Stosa Cucine
to prepare the “right recipe” for obtaining and excellent product and achieving
an important lead in the market.
Quality:
quality doesn’t only mean goodness of the product. For Stosa Cucine it is also
the result of in-depth research in the design, technology and in widening the
range of models, backed by ongoing productive investments. For ongoing
improvement.
Strength in the price:
i.e. making kitchens and guaranteeing the best value for money. A quality
product at an affordable price.
Tradition:
for over 40 years, behind every Stosa Cucine model there has always been
all the passion and genuineness of a family, and namely that of chairman
Maurizio Sani who, together with his children David, Mauro and Leonardo,
successfully leads the company towards promising horizons.

03
Stosa Cucine established in 1964
First half of the 1980s
1987
Established in 1964, by its founder members, Mr. Stolzi and the Sane brothers, the company ‘Stosa’ takes its name after its creators
initials. Since the very start, its manufacturing activities have been clearly aimed at and specialized in the home furniture for kitchens; over
time, this choice proved very successful, leading to a substantial growth of this company. Its first ever production to come out of the
workshops in Piancastagnaio (SI) consisted of laminated kitchen furniture of the formica type, soon, however, it started using different types
of wood ( chestnut, durmast, cherry and walnut), which became very popular, playing an increasingly substantial role in this company’s
output, so much so that, today, they are considered to be one of the main distinguishable and prestigious features of Stosa’s production.
The company went through a restructuring phase during the early 1980s, which saw Mr. Maurizio Sani and his family taking
progressive ownership of the company, and they currently hold the entire share capital. With this corporate reorganisation
as its impetus, the company’s manufacturing base was transferred into more spacious premises in the industrial area of the
Municipality of Radicofani, combined with a manufacturing organisation predominantly based on assembling semi-finished
components. The company had, therefore, undergone both a manufacturing and a commercial phase of transformation
which was the starting point for the subsequent growth trend which still characterises the company to the present day.
1987 saw the company’s first appearance at the “Eurocucina” exhibition, which was a means of drawing attention to the
company on a national scale. The company’s participation at this event has gradually increased over the course of the
various exhibitions up until today, when it is now one of the main operators in the kitchen sector, both in terms of square
metres of display space and its number of Italian and foreign contacts.
1989
1989 was the start of the company’s 20 year collaboration with Professor Ettore Tinagli’s external architecture studio;
working together towards a progressive growth in modelling and design has allowed the company to establish itself
more strongly in the field of specialised kitchen sales.

04
1996
1999
2001
2007
The manufacturing plant was partly transferred into the vicinity of the old premises located in the Municipality of Radicofani
at S.S. Cassia km 149.5; the new plant continued, spread over an indoor area of 15,000 m2. Stosa therefore operated in
the 1990s across two separate manufacturing plants with a total indoor area of 25,000 m2, with part of the firm dedicated
exclusively to manufacturing kitchen tops and shelves, while the main business focused on assembling the product.
The company’s continuous growth is also due to the fact that it strives to understand and satisfy the different customs and
requirements of the countries to which it exports, offering a growing service and product. The company’s success was
also bolstered when it obtained the quality certification UNI EN ISO 9001 (Vision) in March 1999 in relation to the design,
manufacture and sale of modular kitchens.
During these years, changes also took place at corporate level. In September 2001, the Company changed its status to a
Public Limited Company with a simultaneous increase in its capital conversion to €1,500,000. The experience acquired by the
company over the course of the years, together with its modern manufacturing technologies, is a guarantee of high quality,
characterised by the company’s use of materials which are certified not to cause environmental imbalance. The critical success
factor, in addition to the excellent customer service the company continues to offer, is its excellent price-quality ratio which has
enabled the company to be numbered, in terms of volume of turnover, among the top 6 kitchen furniture manufacturers in Italy.
2007 saw Stosa collaborate with “Adriani e Rossi Edizioni”, with which it completely restyled the existing modern products,
undertook a global catalogue update and developed a preview presentation of the new “look system” at Eurocucina 2008. The
“look system” is characterised by new modularity, a series of details, new elements and by particular attention to the finishes.
1985 to 2008
Over the course of the years, the company has been characterised by strong investment and progressive changes led
by the Sani family. This, combined with an aggressive marketing strategy aimed at traditional distribution, has been
the prerequisite for its subsequent commercial performance, which has been characterised by a continuous growth in
turnover, increasing from € 2.5 million in 1985 to around € 69 million in 2008.

05
2008
Due to growing market demands and to the changing needs of the kitchen sales market, in 2008, the company
owners decided to implement a further enlargement of the manufacturing plant by 15,000 m 2 , both to incorporate
new production technologies and to increase manufacturing capacity, to an annual kitchen production of over 30,000
units, set out over a plant indoor surface area of 40,000 m 2 .

Stosa worldwide
Having consolidated its Italian market, Stosa has, for some years, been working on a policy of international development,
begun with an external consortium and then brought back within the company structure with encouraging results,
demonstrated by the rapid commercial penetration of the brand in other nations.
With a strong desire to increase Stosa’s presence and visibility on the Italian market and to push vigorously on the
important foreign markets, Stosa already exports successfully to: Greece - Russia and former USSR Eastern European
nations – the Middle East: UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Spain, France, Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Turkey, Cyprus, Israel
and Malta. Soon to be opened: India, North African countries: Morocco, Libya.
