4 THE WITNESS: Mr. LaVecchio, I can answer
5 the question generally and discuss people that I
6 think are outside that investigatory privilege.
7 MR. LAVECCHIO: That's fine.
8 MR. GAY: I don't want to invade, obviously,
9 upon the investigatory privilege. So, Mr. Rothstein,
10 if you are aware of facts that you can share with us
11 today that would not run afoul of that privilege,
12 please do so. But obviously, I'm not asking you today
13 to divulge anything that would violate that privilege.
14 So with that in mind, go ahead.
15 THE WITNESS: At certain times during
16 dinners out there, I was asked to specifically to
17 meet with members of organized crime. On other
18 occasions I was there with Ted Morse and other
19 friends of ours.
20 BY MR. GAY:
21 Q. Just to get an idea, did you always go or
22 always meet with Mr. Lipsitz and/or Mr. Tonacchio, or
23 were there times when you went to Runway 84 on
24 Thursday nights and neither one of them was there?
25 A. No, the great bulk of the time neither one
