BSSA Annual Luncheon 12:45
The lunch will take place at the familiar venue of the Cutlers’ Hall which provides plenty of room for
guests to circulate and meet up with friends and colleagues from across the industry.
This year's guest speaker is Terry Scuoler who has been CEO of EEF since 2010. After serving as
an infantry officer, in 1978 he started his commercial career in publishing and construction. In 1984
he joined Royal Ordnance (now part of BAE systems) and in 1999 became Managing Director of
Ferranti Technologies Ltd. Terry has a passion for manufacturing and engineering and its critical role
in generating wealth for the UK economy.
We are anticipating another good turn out this year, so be sure to book early to avoid
disappointment. The cost is £65 (+ VAT) for members and their guests, and £90 (+ VAT) for nonmembers
(don’t forget that you can pay by credit or debit card).

There will be two speakers at the Forum. Alistair Ramsay, Principle Steel Consultant at CRU, will
provide the latest outlook for stainless steel and its raw materials and Noble Francis, Economics
Director at the Construction Products Association will give the latest outlook for the construction
sector in the UK.
Refreshments will be available from 10:30, please note that the forum is free of charge to those
attending the luncheon; please confirm your attendance so we know to include you in our
numbers.
BSSA AGM 10:00 - 10:30
Open to all member companies; this is an opportunity to hear about the activities of the Association
and plans for the coming year. Refreshments will be available from 09:30 please confirm your
attendance so we know to include you in our numbers.
