Concept<br />
The soul of <strong>RMV</strong> drum is the Bapeva shell, a native Brazilian wood, known as<br />
Brazilian Maple, with excellent physical properties, high density <strong>and</strong> hardness<br />
- that results in an amazing drum sound. The Brazilian Bapeva is 18% harder,<br />
<strong>and</strong> denser than are traditional US maple. The Optimised Sound Bearing Edges<br />
are cut in 45 Degree on Bass Drums <strong>and</strong> Snare Drums. 60 Degree Optimized<br />
Edges on Toms, using precision automated machines <strong>and</strong> then individually<br />
h<strong>and</strong> checked over a granite table.<br />
<strong>RMV</strong> drums are made using <strong>RMV</strong> designed TDSM – Thermo-Dynamic Shell<br />
Molding equipment, that presses the wood to 5.5 bar pressure <strong>and</strong> gradually<br />
raises the temperature to 100 º C, resulting in a precise, stable <strong>and</strong> rigid shell.<br />
The Sound<br />
<strong>RMV</strong> feels that the sonic characteristics possessed in different degrees by maple<br />
<strong>and</strong> birch—depth, warmth, clarity, <strong>and</strong> projection—can all be achieved using<br />
Bapeva. The thunderous bass is incomparable, <strong>and</strong> the toms are incredible, nice<br />
deep warm tone. The higher the density of the shell, the deeper will be the<br />
resonance, bringing a fat sound with naturally balanced fundamental tones. But<br />
density alone does not assure a great drum sound. The hardness is the other key<br />
factor, not <strong>only</strong> sound wise, but structurally. The harder the shell, the greater the<br />
attack, stick definition <strong>and</strong> volume. Bapeva wood combines these properties<br />
producing a superior drum sound.<br />

Concept Exclusive<br />
The top of the range Concept Exclusive kits come in three choices of woods,<br />
suiting the musician <strong>and</strong> type of music played:<br />
• 100% Bapeva: for volume, attack, <strong>and</strong> total control of harmonics with greater projection.<br />
• Maple / Bapeva: a full sound, combining control <strong>and</strong> attack, constructed to enhance medium frequencies.<br />
• Purple-Heart: Soft sounding attack, with precise <strong>and</strong> controlled resonance allowing great dynamic<br />
range <strong>and</strong> tonal feel.<br />
The toms have hard 4mm thin shells with die cast hoops equipped with the RIMS floating system.<br />
The floor toms use the <strong>RMV</strong> exclusive S.C.S (shell shock system) which brings out the bass so<br />
effectively with no distortion. The Bass drum use 6mm shells with<br />
telescope style feel<br />
The black hardware contrasts the chromed hardware of the drums.<br />

We at <strong>RMV</strong> have been searching for the ultimate clean sounding kit, designed to work well in the studio<br />
<strong>and</strong> giving the widest possible range of tones available to the musician.<br />
For the High Toms we have combined a 4mm bapeva shell with a 6mm reinforcing ring which produces<br />
superior attack, harmonic control <strong>and</strong> balanced volume. These are mounted on <strong>RMV</strong>’s exclusive Front Bar<br />
PHK4500, mounted between the two high hat st<strong>and</strong>s. The floor Toms are mounted on the unique SCS<br />
(shock cell system which gives an awesome sound allowing the drums to vibrate naturally.<br />
The bass (6mm) have superb low-end tone <strong>and</strong> kick.<br />
The response of the kit when used at all volumes is such that it is ideal for studio <strong>and</strong> processor use, clear<br />
<strong>and</strong> precise.<br />
With the brilliant lacquer finish <strong>and</strong> black lugs this kit looks <strong>and</strong> sounds modern <strong>and</strong> professional, <strong>and</strong> will<br />

Concept X7<br />
Since the beginning of the project concept, we launch NEO model, with 04mm of thickness <strong>and</strong> 1.6mm hoops.<br />
The success was immediate, thanks to the precise tunning, the equalized sound with cutting average <strong>and</strong> higher volume.<br />
Many of our endorses, still playing with these models until today<br />
And we have a collection of CD’s <strong>and</strong> DVD’s recorded with this drums’s configuration.<br />
So, we decided to relaunch the series, now under the name of X-7.<br />
Kits with the same characteristics of construction, hardware <strong>and</strong> finishing of the X5, but with a different concept sound.<br />
X-7 has a wide open sound, running very well under situations where we do not have microphones <strong>and</strong> amplification systems.<br />
The drums are tuned very easily with ventilation of skins of double film, <strong>and</strong> in general, are set for dynamic medium/high.<br />
It´s very good for live concerts. And has light weight with makes transportation <strong>and</strong> displacement much easier.<br />

Road Up
This is a well made light-weight drum kit, ideally suited to for the travelling musician. This kit is well priced,<br />
sounds great <strong>and</strong> is compact. The drums have a naturally balanced sound, which works well acoustically, in<br />
bars, churches, practice studios <strong>and</strong> garages as well as through a PA using microphones.<br />
The Road up also makes a good practice kit as the volume is not too great <strong>and</strong> the drums sound soft with a<br />
deep resonance, suiting professional <strong>and</strong> the student alike.<br />
The hardware is strong, light, practical <strong>and</strong> compact, making this one of the most transportable <strong>and</strong> easily<br />
assembled kits on the market. It is well suited to many different kinds of music, from Rock to funk with the<br />
configuration of 3 Toms <strong>and</strong> a suspended floor Tom.<br />
