Choose the wood type for the unique sound you are looking for and be amazed with the<br />
results! From shell thickness and finishes to the overall drum kit configuration, everything<br />
is made by our skillful artisans and inspected by our master craftsman, Mr. Daniel Giardina,<br />
for the highest quality control.<br />
Exclusive Custom drums are produced with selected sheets of Brazilian exotic wood. The<br />
Bapeva wood, known as Brazilian maple, has been traditionally used by <strong>RMV</strong> to produce<br />
fine instruments. The Purple Heart wood is used to produce exquisite and unique drum<br />
kits that look and sound great! And, for traditional tastes, imported maple wood can be<br />
blended with Brazilian wood creating unique and harmonious sounds. As a final refining<br />
touch, an outer layer of Copaíba wood can be added to create a matchless visual effect. If<br />
a see-through lacquer finish is ordered, colored or not, the natural wood grains will show<br />
through for an astonishing look.<br />
Every single piece of wood used on an <strong>RMV</strong> Exclusive Custom drum is hand- picked to<br />
ensure that the shell will be fully resonant and flawless.<br />
