AT&T Graduate Fellowship

Purpose
The AT&T Graduate Fellowship is designed to recognize and provide financial assistance
to outstanding graduate students who have been admitted to Penn State as candidates for
graduate degrees, and who are conducting research in wireless data applications.
Award One $5,000 award will be placed into the recipient’s Bursar Account for fall 2014.
Eligibility
To be eligible a student must meet the following criteria:
be a master's or doctoral student conducting research in wireless data applications
be registered as a full-time degree-seeking student fall 2014
Application
Applications should include the following: (Please send a single PDF file of all application
materials, collated in the order below, to the Office of Graduate Fellowships and Awards, l-gsfellowships@lists.psu.edu.)
a completed application form
a statement of research interest prepared by the student (three-page maximum)
a letter of support provided by the student's department head or adviser
Deadline
Applications must be submitted by e-mail to the Office of Graduate Fellowships and Awards
Administration (l-gs-fellowships@lists.psu.edu) by March 3, 2014.
Selection
Process
Members of the Graduate Council Committee on Fellowships and Awards will select the
recipient. All applicants will be notified by letter of the award decision. Recipient awards
are disbursed through student Bursar Accounts in accordance with federal financial aid
regulations.
