General information<br />

effeff strike plates are available in an extensive range<br />

of designs. The electric strikes in <strong>Model</strong> Range <strong>118</strong> are<br />

essentially compatible with our existing range of strike<br />

plates. You can find newly designed strike plates on<br />

the following pages.<br />

Please note that ProFix 2 <strong>Electric</strong> <strong>Strike</strong>s must only<br />

· Rounded strike plates are mainly used in wood<br />

frames.<br />

· Square strike plates are mainly used in metal frames.<br />

· Different latch-bolt dimensions allow different locks<br />

to be combined.<br />

· Flat, flanged strike plates are normally used with nonrebated<br />

doors <strong>and</strong> doors which open outwards.<br />

· Angled strike plates are mainly used in wood structures,<br />

but are also sometimes used in metal structures.<br />
