About ICONapps<br />
<strong>Boot</strong> <strong>Camp@Iskandar</strong> <strong>Malaysia</strong><br />
ICONapps <strong>Boot</strong> <strong>Camp@Iskandar</strong> <strong>Malaysia</strong> is a 6-week Mobile Apps<br />
Development Programme (2-day class per week) targeted at individuals who<br />
are looking to enter the mobile content industry. You may join as an<br />
individual or a team of 2-3 multi-skilled <strong>Malaysia</strong>n citizens.<br />
You’ll be mentored by international award-winning mobile apps/games<br />
developers, be taught the commercialisation tricks and guided to possible<br />
funders for your future contents.<br />
At the end of the Programme, your mobile apps/games would be fully<br />
developed and ready for the market!<br />
This is a<br />
Programme, however participants are responsible for their<br />
own lodging, transportation and food & beverages.<br />
*Cheap accommodation available @ UTM.
Eligibility Criteria<br />
<strong>Malaysia</strong>n<br />
At least 18 years old<br />
Individual OR a Team of 2-3<br />
Committed to undergo the 6-week Mobile Apps Development<br />
Programme (2 nd Jul – 10 th Aug 2012) @ FSKSM, UTM Skudai<br />
*<strong>Malaysia</strong>n registered companies/businesses are also welcomed.<br />
Pitching Structure<br />
Each Individual OR Team will be given 5 minutes to Pitch &<br />
5 minutes for Q&A<br />
Your pitching MUST consists of the following:<br />
Project Summary<br />
Team Introduction – e.g. team member(s), skills &<br />
expertise, etc.<br />
Project Information/Features – e.g. story, concept,<br />
characters, etc.<br />
Target Audience/Market – e.g. kids aged 3-6, teenagers, etc.<br />
References and Competitors (if any) - e.g. similar<br />
existing apps, etc.<br />
Current Project State - e.g. ideas, prototype,<br />
ready-to-market content, etc.<br />
Be creative & pitch in the following form:<br />
Power Point presentation,<br />
Show us your Prototype/ready-to-market content, OR<br />
