Test run, observe operation for malfunctions for:<br />

2.<br />
a. Parking brake<br />
In forward gear, push the accelerator with the<br />
brake set<br />
b. Service brake<br />
Accelerate, apply brakes, 2nd boom up<br />
c. Steering<br />
Operate steering through full range of motion<br />
3.<br />
a. Boom; Jib up/down; rotate; 2nd up/down<br />
Raise boom up 5' and then lower<br />
Drive speed 1 ft/sec/lift 2nd boom 1 ft.<br />
b. Scissors type platform<br />
Raise the platform 5' then lower<br />
Perform a visual inspection of the following<br />
parts/inspection issue:<br />

a. Battery fluid leaks and proper fluid level<br />
b. Hydraulic power unit, tank, hoses, fittings,<br />
cylinders, and manifolds<br />
c. Proper hydraulic oil level<br />
d. Electrical components, wiring , and electrical<br />
cables<br />

a. Tires and wheels<br />
b. Nuts, bolts, and other fasteners<br />
c. Drive motors<br />
6.<br />
a. Break release components<br />
b. Boom wear pads<br />
7.<br />
a. <strong>Platform</strong> entry mid-rail/gate<br />
b. Lanyard anchor points<br />
8.<br />
a. Cracks in welds or structural components<br />
