3.3 Master of Engineering in Fire Engineering (MEFE) The Department of Civil and Natural Resources Engineering administers the MEFE degree. This is a 15–18 month degree, requiring six courses and a thesis. This degree programme is partly funded by the New Zealand Fire Service Commission. Some scholarships are available.
