Rock Pop Mime Brings it On! P o p Each year students from the Middle and Senior Schools at St Luke’s compete in friendly inter-house competition known as Rock Pop Mime. Each School House group prepares a 5 to 10 minute dance and mime production based around a theme similar to a rock eisteddfod item, and this year the theme was ‘Bring it on!’ In general, costumes are confined to House shirts with basic props and limited costumes added for effect. As always, there is no winning House as all who choose to participate are winners by simply being involved. This year’s event coincided with the Principal’s Welcome Barbeque, so the young people had a larger than usual audience. Energy and passion for their Houses are the main ingredients that all who participated brought to the evening, and everyone certainly had a great time.
