Georgia's Reply 3 rd Quarter: 06-30-03 <strong>for</strong> the tracking and by June 2004 <strong>for</strong> the referral system to Consultation and Support and the<br />

Regional Adoption Coordinators.<br />

3 rd Quarter Report: The development <strong>of</strong> an operational system has been completed and the first report was run 06-30-03. The next<br />

phase will be the development <strong>of</strong> a referral system to Consultation & Support and Regional Adoption Coordinators (RACs) <strong>for</strong> follow<br />

up to facilitate timely registration <strong>of</strong> children.<br />

4 th Quarter Report: Goal Achieved. The reports are being run with copies to Consultation & Support and Regional Adoption<br />

Coordinators <strong>for</strong> follow up.<br />

DOCUMENTATION PROVIDED 4 TH Quarter: Attached copies <strong>of</strong> Notice <strong>of</strong> TPR letters.<br />

4 th Quarter Federal Response: Noted as achieved. However, has the review instruments been revised to include these new standards<br />

(measurable benchmark)?<br />

5 th Quarter Report: The system is operational and enables the Office <strong>of</strong> Adoptions to identify children who are free <strong>for</strong> adoption and<br />

the county DFCS has not submitted the appropriate notification <strong>for</strong> tracking purposes. Upon receipt <strong>of</strong> the TPR order from the court, if<br />

it is determined that the county DFCS has not notified the Adoption Exchange <strong>of</strong> a child free <strong>for</strong> adoption, a letter is sent to the county<br />

as a reminder. A copy <strong>of</strong> this letter is addressed to the DFCS Consultation and Support Unit and the Regional Adoption Coordinator.<br />
