C5 ACTION STEPS: Analyze data at the county and worker level to identify issues <strong>of</strong> stability on a certain caseload or in a certain<br />

county.<br />

The following was added per ACF review <strong>of</strong> 1 st Quarter Report:<br />

To address the data discrepancy, DFCS must complete several assessments <strong>of</strong> moves in the financial reporting<br />

system (COSTAR) to the number <strong>of</strong> moves reported in the Internal Data System/AFCARS (IDS). When the<br />

computer system upgrade is completed, DFCS will compare the number <strong>of</strong> placement moves in the data system<br />

to the number <strong>of</strong> placement moves in an on-site review <strong>of</strong> case records <strong>for</strong> children in non-related family foster<br />

homes in Toombs, Fulton and Carroll counties. The Evaluating and Reporting Section (E&R) will generate a<br />

sample <strong>of</strong> cases similar to the Child and Family.<br />
